Some patients find the journey to a clinic difficult: after surgery or a heart attack, with reduced mobility, at an advanced age, or with an exhausting chronic illness. For them, the examination comes to the home.
The visit covers the same core elements as an examination at the clinic — a conversation about symptoms, blood pressure and pulse, listening to the heart and lungs, assessing swelling, and reviewing the medication you are taking. Where needed, additional investigations are carried out with portable equipment.
A home examination has an added advantage: it shows how the patient actually manages in their own surroundings and how they take their medication, which sometimes reveals more than the findings themselves. The findings and recommendation are given on the spot, and a follow-up is arranged if needed. Appointments are booked by phone.

Vorbereitung
Have all current medicines and previous medical records ready in one place. Provide somewhere the patient can lie down and good lighting. Keep any earlier reports, discharge letters, or laboratory results to hand. When booking, describe the main symptoms and give the exact address.
